A bookstore app for my mother

During the COVID-19 pandemic, my mother started a bookstore. I saw her fiddling around with Word documents to keep track of her inventory, and I thought to myself: there is room for improvement here.

So I built her an application in Laravel to keep track of her stock. She can search the whole catalogue by ID, title, author or category, and narrow it down to just the books in stock or just the books sold. For every book she can also see which box it is in. Behind the scenes it uses MySQL and Bootstrap, and the interface is in Dutch.

The screenshot shows the public demo version, which used placeholder data instead of her real stock. That public demo is no longer live.
