Rocket League European University Champions

I founded a team at Hogeschool Windesheim, and on 4 and 5 December 2021 we won the University Rocketeers Winter Cup #2, a major online Rocket League tournament between international universities. We played as EZ Windesheim: Matthias Rakhorst, Liem Tran and me, with Arjen van de Koot as substitute.

The clip above is the winning goal of game four in the best-of-seven final. I set up the play and Liem scored in overtime to win the game.

Rocket League ranks players in 18 tiers, and all three of us were in the highest, Supersonic Legend, which very few players worldwide reach. Winning the Winter Cup made us the best university team in Europe at that moment and qualified us directly for European University Rocketeers ‘22, the European championship and main event of the 2022 season.
